It began with Annie....

This is Annie, our wirehaired DWP.
A DWP is a Dachshund With Privileges. In 1995 Annie came in our lifes and from that moment on I am addicted to dachshunds. Annie is allowed to do all the things that are strictly forbidden to the other dogs and she is doing these things all day. That's the privilege when you are the first dachshund in the house... Unfortunately Annie died in 2008 the day after Christmas.
And you probably know how these things work: after Annie came Fleur in our family and after Fleur came Sophie. And the last two became the mothers of my first puppies. All standard wirehaired dachshunds.
Since about ten years however I became more and more interested in the smooth haired, especially the smallest breed: the kaninchen. On the next pages all my dogs are portrayed, including their pedigrees and (if availabel) their showresults.

...and here are we living

Somewhat outside a little village called Almen, in the beautiful part of the Netherlands which is called the Achterhoek, we are living with a few pigs, a herd of sheep, some goats, chickens, geese, an occasional turkey, some rabbits and of course dachshunds. On the next webpages you can see it all.
